The Laker Classic showcased some of the top talent in Oregon on a cool Friday (4.3.09) afternoon and evening at the Lake Oswego Track & Field complex. The host Lakers provided some of the top performances as senior Elijah Greer ran what we believe to be a track record of 1:51.47 in a virtual solo effort to win by nine seconds.

Junior John Paden followed the same script as Murray as he used a strong kick over the final 400 meters to win the boys' 3000 in a new personal best of 9:03.24. That time moves him to the number 10 spot on the all-time Laker performance list.
